10th Izmir International Chess Tournament  began with 197 players, from 7 different federation. Tournament Director IO Selcuk Buyukvural said “I am proud of to do 10th Izmir Open Chess Tournament” on opening ceremony. Also he conveyed message of Turkish Chess Federation’s president’s Ali Nihat YAZICI.

The member of Board of Directors,Ahmet Arda Kılıç, wished good luck for all players.

First round began after Homage and National Anthem.
